An ethnicity of South Africa : the Zulu
The largest ethnic group in South Africa is the Zulu and the majority of them live in KwaZulu Natal Province and Gauteng Province.
It’s estimated that about 11 millions of peoples are ZuLu.
The Zulu predominately believe in Christianity, but they have created them own religion.
The language of the Zulu people is "isiZulu". Zulu is the most spoken language in South Africa, so it is an official language.
Not the entire south africa’s population is able to speak and understand this language, the Zulu can speak a lot of different language. They can also speak Xitsonga or Sesotho for example.
The Zulu people celebrate an annual event that was established in 1984 called the Umhlanga. The purpose of this event is to promote pride in virginity and to restrain sexual relationships.
Zulus wear a variety of cloths, different for a traditional ceremony or culturally ceremony for instance.
