Tanzania’s ethnicity : Maasai
One
of the most famous ethnic group in Tanzania is the Maasai.
This group is from Tanzania and Kenya, there are 840,000 Maasais in Kenya and 300,000 in Tanzania.
In Tanzania, they are known by occidental foreigners because they are part of the wildlife parks.
Through years, the Maasai culture remained the same and is very rich thanks to the many songs and the oral literature this culture has.
Despite the fact that they seem outside the civilized world, the Maasai are part of Tanzania’s economical, social and political issues.
The Maasai wear different types of colorful cloth motifs : striped, checked and plain.

sheperds who take care of their cattle as if it was their god’s and
this is their principle source of food. Agriculture is also part of

usually live in villages made of small circular houses built of
branches and covered of patty.
