Zulu is an ethnic group of SA, founded in 1709, Amazulu are the largest ethnic in SA with 10 million people living the natal land of the Zulu : KwaZulu-Natal. Zulu people originated from the Ngini communities. Zulu have different parties : Umhlanga, Reed Dance for example. They will all perform a ceremony when there chef arrives. The Zulu people are generally Christians. but have created a religion that combines it with the Zulu's past belief. The Zulu religion has a creative god, Nkulunkulu. The language of the Zulu is the "isiZulu". The name of the Zulu are : male name (Andile and Bongani), female name (Hlengiwe and Lindiwe). Zulus wear light clothes. During the British colonization, January 22, 1879, the Zulus defeated the British at the battle of Isandhlwana but they faced several defeats. The war finally ended with a Zulu defeat on July 4, 1879.



Actually Zulu still practice their traditions and spreads them worldwide.
