Project
Zambia
The Zambia project is a project which begin in 2002
and the goal is to help refuges and a poor peoples. But the project
does not have that goal but it does not have that goal it has a lot
of others but I will talk about that there. And I’ll speak special
situation for illustrate.
The Zambia project started with help for a poor
school in Lusaka in Zambia. Then the project gained momentum and
spread across the country. The project is now do by the Congregation
of the Brothers of the Christian Schools and a NGO Edmund Rice
international. The project help
the Misisi compound it’s a bigger shanty town where live around
80,000 people whether Zambians or migrants. It’s a disadvantage
area in sub-Saharan. In this place the life expectancy is just 32
years old and lot of people die because of HIV which common for
adults and children. And there aren’t clean water and there are
cholera outbreaks. It’s for what the Zambia project has made this
location priority target. For help this population the project use a
special way. The members of the project work with the inhabitants to
better be able to identify the problems. The first goal in this
situation is to built a device to have a clean water. And after this
the second goals is to think about the solution short and long term
like a the development of agriculture for the people can provide for
them. The development has already started with the chicken coop
installation.
The Zambia project is a good project to help poor
people
